Ada C. Matthews

Born in Eastport, ME, Ada was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 23 years, moving from Portland, ME.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Matthews worked in the Admissions Office of the Osteopathic Hospital in Portland, ME for 17 years.

Ada was a member of the Port St. Lucie Bible Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley S. Matthews in January, 2005; and her infant son, Wesley Reid Matthews.

Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Shenning of Port St. Lucie, FL, Mary Mendoza of Peyton, CO; one son, John Matthews of AZ; eight grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012, 1:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL; with entombment following at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL.
