

Anne was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late George and Eleanor Torpey nee Sullivan and lived in Port St. Lucie for 14 years. Anne was an Executive for Maersk Inc. where she was employed for 30 years. Anne was a natural born leader and she was active at St. Lucie Catholic Church's Parish, where she volunteered her time as a Eucharistic Minister and was Secretary for the Parish Council. Anne truly loved people, especially the time spent with her family. She was an extremely giving and caring person often helping to give back to her community and help others in any way possible. In her spare time, Anne enjoyed travelling, reading, and cooking.
Anne was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Fromtholz. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bruce Crosby; sons, Bruce and Kenneth Crosby; daughter-in-law Maria Crosby; grandchildren, Megan Crosby and Justin Crosby; sister, Mary Yokich; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation and Celebration of Anne's Life will take place on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 2-4 and 5:30-8:30 at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11 am at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.
Memorial contributions may be made in Anne's honor to St. Lucie Catholic Church, 280 SW Prima Vista Blvd, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983 or to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road Fort Pierce, Florida 34981.
