Antoinette was the beloved wife of the late Rocco J. Rossetti, Jr., with whom she shared 73 years of marriage. Their life together was a testament to devotion, family, and enduring love. She loved listening to the stories he told and hung on every word, finding joy not only in the memories he shared, but in the simple gift of being together.
Born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, Antoinette was a proud Italian woman whose greatest joy was her family. After completing high school, she began her working life, which included learning shorthand at Edwards while working as an administrative assistant where she first met her future husband, Rocco. She later worked at Nathan Hale Middle School in the cafeteria, before she returned to the role she embraced most fully: caring for her husband, her children, and the home she built around them. A homemaker by vocation and by heart, she devoted her life to those she loved and took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home, where family, food and laughter were always at the center.
Antoinette also cherished the daily phone calls she shared with her sister, Catherine Gaeta Petrini, until her passing. Their bond reflected the importance Antoinette placed on family, connection and the comfort of familiar voices.
Antoinette was the loving mother of two children, Rocco J. Rossetti III and Nancy Iannacone. Rocco has one son, Joseph Rossetti, who, together with his wife, Amita, have two daughters, Mia and Gianna Rossetti, Antoinette’s cherished great-grandchildren. Nancy and her husband, Randy, Antoinette’s beloved and devoted son-in-law, have one daughter, Kayla, and her husband, Anthony. She also leaves behind two nephews, Fred and Jerry Petrini, and their respective families.
Antoinette found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. She loved watching game shows, reading Reader’s Digest, enjoying good food and, above all else, spending time with her family—her children, grandchildren and, more recently, her great-grandchildren. She genuinely enjoyed the company of others and was known for often staying up late to enjoy a visit or share an extra laugh.
Her love for her family was unmistakable and unwavering, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and devotion. She will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch whose life was defined by love and by the strength and value she placed on family.
Antoinette was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rocco, who passed on July 22, 2025. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
