I'm not certain if Carl is the gentleman I worked with years ago on wall St, if he is I am Soo sorry to hear of his passing. 
Carl and I were good friends and colleagues.

Sorry my wife and I could not attend your funeral mass today. Family illness. You and the entire Valere family are in our prayers. May you rest in peace and will always remember your guidance when you were the GK and I was your financial secretary. Those times meant a lot to me. Your smile and guidance I will always remember.

Today you are put to rest. May eternal rest be granted to you and may your soul rest in peace.
Our happy childhood memories will always be remembered.You were kind hearted and took your Saturday chore of polishing the floor quite seriously and decorating the Christmas tree yearly.
I will miss our frequent  phone calls discussing political  views, talking about favourite foods and all the laughter.
You have been very strong and positive throughout your illness and a good example to me.

Today is a very sad day as I consider it to be the final farewell to a very good friend Carl. The sadness is compounded by my inability to participate in today's service. Facebook link??
The friendship started in the 1950s and continued to his passing. Terrific memories of our trip to Barbados as youngsters, attendance at many carnival related events, staying at his home in NY during my student days in London, several cruises, and of course our frequent banter over the phone which generally culminated in hearty laughter.
Carl presence and personality will be sorely missed even though it was difficult at times to understand his speedy conversations.
On behalf of all the Anatols wishing him a speedy journey into eternity and the family to be mindful that there is no grief without love.

Fondest memories of Carl spending time with Ernest and me on his visits home for Carnival.
Love and prayers are with all the family.


Thinking of all the Valere siblings today on this very difficult day. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Carl outside the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seaton church, one Sunday after mass while looking for information about the Knights of Columbus. We set a date to meet at my house to tell me about the Knights and "not to worry about anything."
That day, Carl showed up at my house, and we talked about the Knights of Columbus and other aspects of our personal life; I agreed to fill out my application to become a Knight. At the end of the meeting, as I walked him to his car, I asked Carl what I had to do before being accepted, and he replied "Don't worry about anything, everything will be fine."
After a few weeks, Carl called to tell me that I had been accepted, and he had put my name down to obtain the “First Degree” . I was a little scared and asked him what I needed to do, and he said “Wear a tie and jacket". I asked if I had to do or read something, and he replied "Don't worry about anything, everything will be fine."
Carl was with me in my "First, Second and Third Degree" and always encouraged me saying "Don't worry about anything, everything will be fine."
He encouraged me to do the “Fourth Degree”, a super special occasion where all Florida Knights would select this Fourth Degree in Orlando. Of course, Carl explained to me that it was a special event and that many important people would be there; again, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."
In Orlando, a few minutes after the start of the “Fourth degree”, Carl arrived at the room where all the participants were, wearing a very unusual but correct and exact dress for the occasion, the “Color Corps” gala uniform. One more time he told me "Don't worry, everything will be fine," and that day I left with an officer position within my consult which I did for two years.
I was already afraid of him every time he told me, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."
Today, you, Carl, have a place in the history of my life, you are in my mind and in my heart.

We will always remember our El Capitan .  Your smile lit up a room and your zest for life was a gift.  So blessed to know you my friend,  Love, Doug & Judy Born❤️

I have known Carlyle since 1962.After having been out of Trinidad we lost contact, low and behold he moved to Port St Lucie and we met again 
He has always be a very genuine and fun  loving person  someone you can always rely on.
Anytime we have gathering at my house he had to be there likewise when he has his gathering I have to  attend. He will  be greatly missed. I have lost a really good friend, I can't think of anyone around here to call a friend ,as he was. He will greatly missed .may he rest until we meet again .

You were a good brother-in-law my friend, always willing to help with everyone and everything even my Kentucky Derby bets.
May the Lord grant you the reward of all your labors. May He keep you and bless you and may the care and devotion of your life on earth find a lasting reward in heaven.

I grew up on Bushe Street, Curepe, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with Carl and his older siblings. We were good friends. His sister Carmen, whom I had not seen for many, many years, was most helpful to my wife and I when we were in Ottawa in 1986 for my open heart surgery. This I will always remember and cherish. Hello Carmen. Please note that we met very much by chance, but the greeting was spontaneous and warm. This is testament to the close friendship I had with Carl and his sisters
I now offer my sincerest condolences to the entire family. May he rest in Peace.

May you be continuously blessed, my brother. You will certainly be missed, no more All Fours, and romey, but when we play, we will always remember you ❤. God bless. 

My deepest condolence to the family of Carl. I will miss his hearty laughter and banter as we reminisced about our days at Prudential Bache and Bank of New York.
