Cecelia Daslyn Agatha Hall was born on March 3, 1939, in Bamboo, St. Ann, Jamaica, to the late Enid Mackenzie and Reuben Hall. She was a devoted, hardworking, compassionate, and selfless woman whose life inspired everyone who knew her. She went on to build a long and meaningful career at New York Infirmary–Beekman Downtown Hospital, serving 32+ years as a unit clerk before retiring. After retirement, she relocated to Florida, where she continued her calling as a caregiver, leaving an unforgettable impression on every life she touched.
Cecelia was called from labour to reward on December 1, 2025, at the age of 86. She was widely known for her love of dancing and her passion for cooking, always welcoming guests with joy and a warm meal. Home was her heart’s center—where she entertained, nurtured, and poured her love into her family. She was a devoted mother and a proud, cheerful grandmother. To her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she was more than family—she was their anchor, encourager, and guiding light. Her home radiated laughter, love, and unwavering support, and she continuously reminded her family of their value, their purpose, and the importance of faith and togetherness.
Cecelia’s legacy endures through her 5 children, 2 daughter in laws, 1 son in law, 12 grand children and 14 great grand children. Though her absence will be deeply felt, her spirit and selfless love will continue to inspire all who had the blessing of knowing her.
“Well done, thy good and faithful servant; you will forever be in our hearts.” — Matthew 25:23
