Born in Brooklyn, NY, Edmund was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 19 years, moving from Chester, NJ.
During the Korean War, Mr. Moore served in the US Army.
Prior to retirement, he was a Mechanical Engineer for the Dept. of Defense for 35 years.
He was a member of the American Legion in Port St. Lucie, and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Doris Moore of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sons, Edmund H. “Hal” Moore, IV, of Chester, VT, Scott K. Moore of Hayes, VA; one daughter Carol Yeager and husband Donald of Spencerport, NY; one sister, Joan Sowden and husband Walter of Daphne, AL; and two grandchildren Danielle and Ted.
Services will be private.
