Born in Augusta, GA, he was a resident of Port St. Lucie.
Prior to retirement, he worked in construction.
He was a member of Port St. Lucie Christian Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Pierce, of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Robert Pierce; daughter, Susan (Milton) Blevins; brother, Elliott Pierce; sister, Cecile (Ozzie) Newman; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lee Pierce.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 5, 2016, 3:00PM at the Port St. Lucie Christian Church, 1420 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL.
