Gary passed away on Easter Sunday April 12th, 2020 at Cleveland Clinic Martin South Hospital in Stuart, FL. Gary was born in Rosedale, Long Island New York. He was a New York City Police Officer from 12/15/1969 to 12/31/1982, when he was hurt on the job and had to retire from law enforcement. As therapy for his injury he went to beauty school and became a hairdresser. Gary moved to Port Saint Lucie, FL in 1987. He belonged to the Port Saint Lucie Marching Band as a drummer when it first started. Gary also was the drummer for the American Legion Port Saint Lucie Post 318 for many years. He enjoyed many years of bowling on a Tuesday night league in the County Mounties at Port St Lucie Lanes. Gary leaves behind his wife of 42 years Joann and his two sons Christopher and Andrew. He also leaves behind many family and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
