Born in Syracuse, NY, George was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 33 years.
He served our country in the US Air Force.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Nojaim was a Deputy Sheriff for St. Lucie County.
He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Marlene Nojaim of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sons, Scott Van Auken and his wife Maria of Vero Beach, FL, Jack Van Auken of Port St. Lucie, FL; one daughter Denise Van Auken of Port St. Lucie, FL; three grandchildren Kayla, Justin and Tyler Van Auken; and two brothers, Leo Nojaim of Buffalo, NY and Jimmy Nojaim of Syracuse, NY.
A Mass will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013, 11:00AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
