Geraldine N Claren

Geraldine “Bonnie” Claren, née Fitz Gerald, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, born April 21, 1930 to Gerald Fitz Gerald and Ruth Tisdale Dean Fitz Gerald, passed away on September 15, 2023. She is survived by sons Will & Mark, several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by son Christopher Dean, husband of 55 years Bill, brother Gerald and sister Joanna.

Geraldine was a graduate of Sargent College. She met her husband Bill while the 2 were working a summer job at a country club in New Jersey.

She and Bill raised their sons in Florham Park, NJ. Bonnie was a teacher while raising her boys. She also taught swimming to special needs children. Later in life she became a real estate agent and had a distinguished career with Weichert Realtors on Long Beach Island in New Jersey.

Geraldine was active in her church, Holy Faith Episcopal in Fort Pierce, serving as both Junior and Senior Warden for several years. She loved swimming, tennis, beaches and lighthouses. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

A Visitation for Geraldine will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2023 with a Funeral Service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Faith Episcopal Church, 6990 S Federal Hwy, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34952.

Arrangements have been made for Geraldine to be put to rest, later in September, privately by her children in New Jersey at Riverside Cemetery.
