Mrs. Gertrude T Segedin

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude (Gert) T. Segedin, (nee Battifarano), of Port St Lucie, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the age of 95, leaving to morn by her family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page to share with her family and friends.

Gertrude was born November 15, 1926 in West New York, New Jersey, and devoted her lifetime to her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Segedin and son, Gregg Segedin and is survived by her children: Thomas and his wife Jeanne, Francis Segedin and his wife Lorraine, Richard Segedin and his wife Patricia, Robert Segedin, Jane Gallucci and her husband Glen, Paul Segedin and his wife Sheila, 17 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25th, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aycock Funeral Home located at 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St Lucie, Florida 34893.

Visitation will also be held on Sunday, August 28th, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ 07647.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, 199 Walnut Street, Northvale, NJ 07647.
