

Born in Jamaica, Mrs. Simpson was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 6 years, moving from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Prior to retirement, Ivy was a Certified Nurses Assistant for Private Agencies in New York, Florida and California for 20 years.
She was a member of the Word of Faith Grace Ministries in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Survivors include four daughters, Joan Holmes of Canada, Millicent Drummond of Riverview, FL, Lilieth Drummond of Gibsonton, FL, Carmeta Wilson of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Trevor Drummond of Jamaica; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Vincent Whyte of Palooka, FL; and five sisters, Essey Robinson of CA, Adina Whyte of Jamaica, Anita Lawrence, Gwendolyn Whyte and Jenny Whyte, all of Jamaica.
Ivy was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Simpson in 1992 and by three brothers.
Friends and relative may call Friday, April 1, 2011 from 1:00PM to 8:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 2, 2011, 3:00PM at the New Testament Faith Center, Port St. Lucie, FL, with interment following at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port St. Lucie, FL.
