Sorry for your loss....I did not know 'Gino', but my name is Michael Rocco Cavallo and my wife of 43 years is DAWN Marie Cavallo (Janiello) 
we lived in Bronx, NY until 1972, moved to Southern California ,and been here since. I have a close friend in Boca Raton Bonnie & Susan Madaffari.

Dawn, so sorry to hear this.  I failed to see it in the newspaper or I would have come to the viewing and funeral.  Haven't been to mass in awhile either.

Dawn, Louie and Joe. So sorry to hear about Geno's passing. We had so many great times and he was such a good friend. My thoughts will be with the three of you as you celebrate Geno's life.

Deepest sympathies. Any loss of a family leaves a great void. The pain of great loss always equals the love witnessed on a daily basis. I, as a child, had an enormous respect for his leadership and deep commitment to his family and work ethic. He demonstrated a unique personal integrity that I wished I had or was taught. I thank the Creator for knowing him as a child and all that I can do today is to honor him after all my trials and small successes is to try to walk my last day in a respectful and committed way to family, friends and community. He will be greatly missed. But I thank that I was privileged to meet him.

Dawn, it's been such a long time.... but you know the special times we had at Riverside and preparing for the very first class!  Loved teaching with you and the gang- wonderful experience!  I remember your handsome Geno and how he adored you - could see it in his face!  I had no idea you moved to Florida :-)  May God bless you and keep you safe and give you comfort and strength ? Aunt Gloria, Louie and Joe, We were saddened to hear of Uncle Geno's passing. He was such a good man and will be missed by so many, but we know  that he isn't suffering anymore and that he has now been reunited with Nonno, Nonna, Dad and Uncle Anthony.
