

He was born in Torremaggiore, Italy, but came to the United States at the age of four. He lived in Gary West Virginia.
During the Korean War, he served in the US Army.
He graduated from Morehead University in Morehead, Kentucky, where he met his wife of 53 years, Dawn Colwell Cavallo.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Bernadette Catholic Church of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Besides his wife, he is survived by sons Dr. Lou Cavallo, Jr. of Chicago, IL and Joseph M. Cavallo of Sellersburg, IN; four grandchildren, Christopher Joseph, Natalie Marie, Chase Joseph and Jack Cavallo, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013, 10AM at at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL, with entombment following at All Saints Cemetery, Jensen Beach, FL.
