Max J Charlemagne

Max J. Charlemagne (affectionately known as Maxo) passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born in Haiti, lived in New Jersey, Rhode Island, and later retired in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Max was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, leaving a legacy of love and joy.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Nicole Charlemagne, and a large, loving family that includes his children, Marjorie and Marcus, with beloved sons Maxime and Peralt preceding him in death. Max also had his stepchildren, Louis, Sabine, Lucienne, Anne Marie, Marie, and Yves Camille. He leaves his beautiful grandchildren: Peraline, Max Andre, Terrel, Brandon, Cameron, Nicholas, Brooklynn, Bettina, Gregory, Kevin, Daphne, Sean, Trent, Nadia, Tania, Ashley, Stefan, Fabienne, Elouan, Maian, Josephine, Valerie, Martine, and Demitre. More than 20 great-grandchildren His nephews or nieces: Lesly, Edy, Junior, Mario, Carline, Robertson, Ricardo, Emmaniela, Beatrice and Junior with scores more! Max was also deeply loved by his siblings, Bernadette, Benedict, Edith, Jerry, and Fernande. His siblings, Merita, Alma, Wesner, Arline, and Emile, preceded him in death.

Max's sarcasm, sense of humor, and love for his wife, Nicole, whom he adored "to death," were at the core of his spirit. They were inseparable, sharing a bond that lasted through the years. Max will be remembered for his unfiltered wit, devotion to his family, and special connection with Nicole.

The family will hold a memorial service to honor Max's life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made through the GoFundMe account set up in his name.

A visitation for Max will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a service at 1:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Southeast Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. A committal service will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery & Cremation Garden, 2200 SW Del Rio Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953.
