
Michael James Corrigan was a gentle, humorous, kind-hearted, and cherished man. Michael was born on June 24, 1945 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan and passed away on December 7, 2025 in Port St Lucie, Florida, at the age 80.
Michael grew up in Hastings, Michigan, where he received his Associate's degree. He served in the army for two years, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his country. Then went on to Chicago, Illinois to work as a Plant Manager for an Aluminum Manufacturer. From there, he moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida and started his company, Emerald Labor, a day labor company. He retired at the age 75.
In his earlier years, Michael was an avid sports enthusiast, playing football, wrestling, and basketball. He also enjoyed golfing, a passion that he carried into his later years, along with traveling all over with his wife.
He is survived by his beloved spouse of 24 years, Carla, his children, Greg (Barb), Carri (Ben), and Tim (Nid) and was a proud grandfather to Timothy, Evie, and Charlotte. His love for his family was evident in all he did.
A Funeral service will be held at Aycock Funeral Home, located at 1504 SE Floresta Dr, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34983-4041, on January 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same location from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.
Michael's legacy is one of love, laughter, and devotion to family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
