

Born in Weems, VA, Weldon has been a resident of Florida for the past 23 years, moving to Port St. Lucie 8 years ago, coming from Hampton Bays, New York and Key Largo, FL.
Prior to retirement, he was a cabinet maker for 45 years in Staten Island, NY. He was a Korean War Veteran that served as a Master Sergeant in the Special Forces for the United States Army. Weldon was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus, and a past member of both the Moose Club and the B.P.O. E. Elks. Weldon is of the Catholic Faith and was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. Weldon was also an advid fisherman.
Weldon is survived by his wife of 22 years, Josephine; son James Luttrell and his wife Christine of Freehold, NJ; sister Pearl Roe and her husband Ray of Staten Island, NY; and granddaughters Allison, Kerry, and Clare Luttrell. He was preceded in death by his first wife Dolores and his brother Ryland Luttrell.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Dr., Port St. Lucie, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
