She was born in Brownville, ME on December 2, 1943 and was the devoted Mother of three boys. Bertha also spent her life taking care of the sick and elderly as a Certified Nursing Assistant and greatly enjoyed Country music, dancing and playing Bingo.
Besides her husband Carl she is survived by her three sons Rodman, Richard and Tony Dixon, two granddaughters and one great grandson. She also leaves a sister Selma.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 12 noon at Woodlawn Cemetery, Stroudwater Street in Westbrook.
