Christopher Richard Rush

He was born in Houlton, ME on April 17, 1955 to Richard T. Rush and Celine M. Rush (McAvoy). He is survived by his children Nicole Botting of Stacyville, ME, Harmony Bidwell and her husband Keith of Portland, ME, David Rush of Portland, ME, and Isaiah Rush of Bradley, ME; his grandchildren Ashley Lutz and her husband Nathaniel, Brendan Botting and Ignatius Bidwell; his siblings Margaret Reddy and her husband Bruce, Mark Rush, Katrina Gray, Lorena Centanni and her husband Don, Janet LaFreniere and her husband Bill, Letitia Douston and her husband Eric; his special lady Sandra Raymond and her children; as well as his friend Cindy Callender; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Celine.

Chris was a very laidback yet hardworking man who enjoyed being with friends and family, especially his youngest son, Isaiah. He loved music, movies and taking long walks with his dear Sandra. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Samuel Wilde Memorial Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery which is located at 672 Steven’s Avenue in Portland, Maine.

A burial will take place in Benedicta, ME in the Spring.
