Daniel M Day, 64, of Auburn passed away peacefully at his home on May 18, 2023. He was born in Lewiston, Maine on November 14, 1958 to David Day and Connie Ouellete Day. He graduated from Edward Little High School with the class of 1977. After many years together, he married Wendy Leavitt on April 5th, 2014, and together they had 2 children. He was employed with Western Maine Transportation and Rooper's until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, and his favorite hobby was collecting baseball caps. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
He is survived by his Mother, Connie Day, his wife Wendy, his children Daniele Marquis and husband Derek, Denise, Daniel, Emily and Michael Day and 5 Grandchildren. HIs brother David Day and partner Lisa, Sister Debbie Sawyer and husband Brian, Steve Knowlton, his Father and Mother in-law Gard and Sandy Leavitt and many nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his best friends Reeny Gauthier and Bruce Dunphy.
He is predeceased by his Father David Day and his Mother's companion Clint Knowlton.
A celebration of life will be held June 17th, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the American Legion, 426 Washington Street, Auburn.
