Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not every day that goes by brings a memory of you when you left us a piece of our hearts left to.David Was a joyful man always ready for a good laugh and to have fun with family and friends. He served in the Navy as an FN on the USS regal AF-58. After the military, David spent most of his years as a meat cutter for sometime and then followed his dream to become a truck driver

Until he retired. David’s true passions were riding motorcycles and playing golf most sunny days You could find him riding his Honda Goldwing or putting around the golf course.

David is Predeceased by his father and mother Horris and Mildred Soper, Brother Charles Soper, And sister-in-law Lucille Soper, Nephew Foster Soper, From Orland, Maine, Along with grandson Kory Schmidt from Searsport, Maine, and son-in-law, Brian Hilton from Lewiston Maine.

David is survived by his two daughters Melissa Wells and husband Howard with granddaughter Ashten Wells From Searsport, Maine, and Kelli Hilton with grandsons Richard LePage,Brison Hilton, granddaughter Serenity Hilton, and youngest grandson Andrew Diaz. He is also survived by two steps sons Lloyd Killam of Lisbon, Maine, and George Killam and family of Lewiston Maine. His sister, Patricia brothers James and Edwin Soper and their families along with many other family and friends.

We will always remember David as a loving husband, father, Papa, Uncle and brother.

This is not goodbye, but until we meet again

David’s burial will be on June 15, 2024 at 1:30 PM located in Orland Maine at Oak Grove cemetery. For celebration of life details please contact Kelli or Melissa.
