

He was born December 30, 1925, the son of Frank William and Laura Mae (Sanborn) Riley. Frank was educated in Sabattus elementary schools, Edward Little High School and graduated from the Auburn Maine School of Commerce. Frank was self-employed and was a long-time member of the Masons. He greatly enjoyed spending time in Sabattus at the lake with his family. He will always be remembered for his wonderful smile and friendly manner.
Frank is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Mary, of Lewiston; two daughters, Patricia Layman (Barclay) and Victoria McLoughlin (Kevin) of Auburn; four grandchildren, Jasmine, Jacob, Brooks and Isabelle; a sister Sylvia of Auburn, and his good friend Ed Sands of Poland. Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Salk.
Frank’s family wishes to thank the staff at Russell Park and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for their care and kindness.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be held next spring at a date and time to be announced.
