Julie was a resident of Auburn, Maine and was known for being hard-working, kind-hearted, and generous. She was the daughter of the late Robert N. and Lorraine I. (Caron) Ducharme. She is survived by her son Randy R. Gosselin, daughter Ann M. Palmer (Andrew), and beloved grandchildren Quincy Gosselin, Dajon Sweeting, Phoenix Palmer, and Joshua Palmer. Julie is also survived by her siblings: Patricia Samson, Gerard Ducharme, Theresa Gagnon, Susanne Bedard, Laurier Ducharme, Raymond Ducharme (Terri), JoAnn Paladino (Daniel), and Brian Ducharme.
Julie's early years were spent in Auburn, Maine. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1980 and had a passion for singing, performing in the choir during her elementary school years.
Her career was marked by over 25 years of service as a machine operator at P & G, formerly known as Tambrands. During the early years of her children's lives, she worked at Country Kitchen Bakery, demonstrating her dedication and flexibility for her family's well-being.
Julie was married to Randolph Gosselin for 24 years, after which she remarried Michael McCullough, who passed in September 2025. She lovingly raised two children and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Julie had a deep love for the water and enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit. and swimming in her pool. She was an avid shopper and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Her love was evident through her generous spirit, often expressed by feeding friends and family and showering them with thoughtful gifts.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Gregory's Church, located at 24 North Raymond Road, Gray, ME, on January 23, 2026, at 11 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location at 12 pm.
Julie's memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
