

Belgrade, ME - Lawrence M. Merrow Sr., 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Belgrade on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 after a long illness. He is survived by his beloved wife Audrey Spaulding Hubbard Merrow and his kitty Shamus.
He also leaves his sons Lawrence Merrow Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Thomas Merrow and his wife Shawna, both of Sidney, ME and his daughter Rose Tuttle and her husband Gary of Rome, ME as well as his stepson Brian Hubbard and his wife Anne Marie of Norridgewock, ME, stepdaughter Joy Horton of Rockhill, SC, seven grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, three great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren. He also will be missed by his brothers Eugene Merrow and his wife Anita of Belgrade, Richard "Ricky" Merrow and his wife Roberta of Freeport, ME, Glendon and his companion Lisa Coates of Monmouth, ME and several nieces and nephews.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Ashley and Leah (Bachelder) Merrow, his brother Jerry Merrow, stepdaughter Terri Charron, step grandson John Charron and step granddaughter Bethany Hubbard.
Lawrence was a welder for local 190 of Ann Arbor, MI and a life member of NRA, the Loyal Order of Moose and the Good Sam's Club. He loved hunting, camping, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.
Thanks to family, friends and neighbors as well as Delta Ambulance, the Maine General Medical Center staff and his Hospice team.
Relative and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on January 27, 2018 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Belgrade Community Center for All Seasons, 1 Center Drive, Route 27, Belgrade, ME.
