Linnet was born Linnet Lou Jean Dudley on November 18, 1947 to the late Ivan and Bertha Dudley in Gardiner, Maine.
Linnet was a loving, witty, outspoken and unfiltered individual. She was a ferocious reader and fabulous cook, passions that she instilled in both her daughters. She also enjoyed bird watching, puzzles, cross stitching, and going to the beach. She loved being a mother, grannie and great grannie and was happiest when spending time with her family.
Linnet is survived by her daughters, Belinda Thibeault and her husband Lawrence Thibeault, Lisa Plourde and her husband Donald Plourde, four grandchildren Nathan Thibeault, Olivia Plourde, Dylan Thibeault and Colin Plourde, two great grandchildren Karson and Kashton Thibeault, her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Lorraine Dudley, and several nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Ivan Dudley and her brother Rodney Dudley.
The family has entrusted Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services with the arrangements.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for July 24, 2022 1:00pm at Belinda Thibeault's residence at 508 Buckfield Road Turner, Maine.
