Marie A. Madore

Marie passed away on 9/27/2023 at 5:21AM at the age of 85. She was born in Auburn Maine on December 23, 1937 to Willie Blanchette and Armandine Fortier.

She attended Auburn Schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in June 1955.

She married Valier J. Madore on November 26, 1955.

Marie enjoyed playing cribbage with the seniors every Thursday morning. She loved music, singing and dancing. She also enjoyed Bowling and playing Pinochle with her children whenever they visited.

Marie and her husband Val enjoyed doing everything together, including going to Florida in the winter for 18 years. But above all, Marie loved all her family very much and was very proud of them all.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Elaine Wark and her brother Willie Blanchette Jr.

Marie is survived by her loving husband of 67 years and their 4 children; Susan Hatten and husband David, Donna Beauchesne and husband Jim, Vickie St. Hilaire and husband Chuck and John Madore and wife Theresa. She also leaves behind her sister Anita Maurice and brother Roger Blanchette, as well as her 7 grandchildren Ryan, Morgan, Patrick, Sarah, Katelyn, Kristen and Andrew, plus 8 great grandchildren.

Valier and his four children would like to thank The Hospice House staff for the wonderful care provided to our mom in her final days. At her request there is no visitation.
