Nancy Ann Perkins

She was born on July 4, 1944 to Eveyln & Ernest Bishop of Anson. She attended Madison schools and graduated from Madison High School in 1962. She and her husband Bruce lived in Gorham where they raised two sons - Randall and Todd. Bruce & Nancy have been married for 58 years.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her family always came first. She loved having summer bar-b-ques around the pool where family and friends could come to visit.

She and Bruce were very active in the Maine Greyhound Rescue, where for many years she organized the “Meet & Greet” events at area pet stores. She was also a crafter of Perkins’ Pets stuffed animals. She and Bruce along with a grandchild or two would take part in craft fairs throughout the state.

She loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events.

She is predeceased by both her parents, son Shane, sister Joanne, and nephew David. She is survived by her husband Bruce, son Randy and wife Rhonda, son Todd and wife Denise, all of Gorham. Grandchildren Lindsey Anderson (husband Eric), Sarah Verrill (husband Steve), Riley, Abigail, Todd Jr, Taylor and Jordan Perkins. Great-Grandsons Jace and Wade Anderson. Out of respect for her wishes there will be no services. Donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
