Peter A. Buxton

Peter was born in Augusta, Maine on June 7,1960 the son of Raymond L. Buxton Sr. and Elsie L. Bowler Buxton. He was one of 10 children.

Peter attended Edgecomb Eddy School .

Peter will be remembered for being a big man with a big heart who cherished his dogs. Especially Molly his faithful companion boxer who went to heaven to wait for him just 2 days before Peters passing. The stories he told and all the help he gave to every one never once turned anyone away for anything. The first to come at the call for help or visit a sick family member or friend .You couldn’t count the cars he fixed for family and friends as well as all the cars Pete bought sold and traded to help anyone who needed have a car. Pete worked for a time as a car sales man and Repo Man.

Peter is predeceased by both his parents Raymond L. Buxton Sr. and Elsie L. Buxton as well as sisters Juanita Weymouth, Donna Willis and Sue Buxton, and his many dogs

He is survived by Brothers Ted Weymouth his wife Pat of Monmouth, Raymond Buxton Jr and his wife Sandra of N.Y. Sisters Betty Gould her husband Robert of Madrid, Rita Buxton and partner Raymond Stuart of Pittston, Ray Mona Arft and partner David Young of Poland, Heidi Buxton of Richmond and Muriel Winchenbach of Bath.

A Favorite Uncle to several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is planned in the spring at Glenside Cemetery on Turkey Lane, Winthrop, ME
