

Priscille L. Nadeau, 86, of South Portland, Maine, formerly of Berlin, NH and The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.
She was born in Berlin, NH on July 22, 1937, the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Dion) Houle. She graduated from Gorham High School and was employed by the State of New Hampshire where she retired after 32 years. Priscille was married to the love of her life, Joseph Paul Nadeau. Together they raised two children, James and Christine.
After retirement in 1989, she enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Florida and summers at Success Pond, where she enjoyed the peacefulness and serenity of God’s Country, alongside twin sister, Lorraine. For the last 15 years, summers have been spent in Old Orchard Beach at Paradise Park. In 2022, due to declining health, she and Paul moved permanently to South Portland, Maine.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph Paul Nadeau, son, James Nadeau, and wife Tina of The Villages, Florida, and her daughter, Christine Halle and husband Stephan, of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; grandchildren, Justin Nadeau, Jessica Nadeau and Kendra Halle and fiancé Thomas Eastman; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by brothers, Armand Houle and George Houle and her sister, Lorraine Morin.
