

Ray was born in Portland, ME on July 26, 1939 a son of the late William & Maybelle (Jackman) Haley. He grew up in Portland, graduating from Cheverus High School.
Raymond worked as a CNA/MT for St. Joseph’s Manor for almost 30 years before retiring in January of 2009 due to illness.
After a brief romance, Ray married Martha in March of 1978.
Besides his wife Martha, he is survived by his three children James Haley, Kathleen Brown and her husband David of New Hampshire and Joseph Haley of Oregon as well as two grandsons Jonathan Haley and his wife Heather and Joseph Haley. He also leaves two sisters Mabel Norton of Kennebunk and Roberta Dillenback of Yarmouth, two brothers Richard Haley of Portland and Donald Haley of Randolph, MA and many nieces and nephews. Raymond was also the brother of the late William and Norman Haley and Jeanette Reynolds.
At Raymond’s request there will be no services with a burial at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland at a later date.
Folks who wish to visit Martha may call on her at the Residence Inn on Roundwood Drive in Scarborough on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 2 – 6 p.m.
