Ricky was born on February 6th, 1955 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Mary and John Higgins. Ricky graduated from Fort Fairfield High School. He spent many years working in Florida and the Boston area before settling in Old Orchard Beach.
Ricky was predeceased by his parents Mary and John Higgins, his brother Kenny and his sister Brenda. Ricky is survived by his brothers, John, Gary, Andy, Kelly and sister Darlene.
He will always be remembered for his kind hearted soul and always being there with a helping hand. He touched many lives in both Fort Fairfield and Old Orchard Beach and will be greatly missed.
An informal memorial gathering will be held at a date to be determined.
