Troy Edward Adkins, of Waterville, Maine, passed away on June 8, 2024 at Maine Medical Center as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on September 29, 1973 in Augusta, Maine and grew up with his family in Chelsea, Maine.
Troy attended Halldale High School and graduated in 1991. Troy worked as a firefighter and EMT until 2012. He was actively involved in working for the DOT in Augusta, Maine. Troy loved to ride his motorcycle with his brothers and listening to the Grateful Dead. He loved animals and helping people. He loved his children and his family. Troy was loved by everyone he knew and was the most compassionate, kind-hearted, caring man.
He is preceded in death by his sister Candace Pendleton, father Edward Adkins Jr., aunts Sylvia Rodrigue, Bertha Arbour, Thelma Morgan, Patsy Morgan, Norma Faucher, and uncle Leonard Parent.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Adkins, his aunts Eva Dion, Juanita Wilson, his daughters Isabel and Olivia Adkins, his fiancée Danielle Good, and his many brothers.
The family would like to thank the Maine Medical staff in the SCU for the care and compassion they showed Troy in his final days.
