

Wally was born in Portland on March 5, 1959 a son of the late Walter Francis & Ethel Mae (Waterhouse) Cram Sr. He spent most of his life as a Portland resident.
He worked for Ellis Paperboard in Portland for several years after which he spent about twenty years working for the Portland Press Herald before retiring due an illness.
Wally loved to play bingo, playing any chance he could get. He was also an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed a good book. Wally will be remembered for his kindness as well as his amazing sense of humor.
Walter was very proud of his Native American heritage, attending Pow Wow’s all across the area and teaching his heritage to others.
He is survived by a sister Joanne Lamontagne and her husband Daniel of Buxton, and two brothers Paul Cram of Portland and Russell Cram and his wife Christine of Buxton. He also leaves nephews Daniel and Brian and nieces Paula, Ashley and Katelyn as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Black Point Cemetery, Black Point Road, Scarborough with Rev. Philip Shearman officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 981 Forest Ave., Portland.
