Alma Lorraine Huggins

Alma was Secretary/Treasurer of CC Foreman and Son Inc. for 28 years. She was a member of Alexander Baptist Church in Portsmouth, VA. Alma was active in the WMC and Girls Auxiliary for many years at Bayview Baptist Church in Norfolk.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert F. Boggs, Jr. of Norfolk, in 1970 and, Vernon L. Huggins, of Chesapeake, in 2003.

She is survived by her son, R. Lewis Boggs and his wife, Anne, of Richmond, VA; her daughters, Patricia A. Boggs, of Raleigh, NC, and Sylvia L. Altman of Virginia Beach, VA. She will also be missed by her precious 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and by her sister, Earleene Drames, of Suffolk, VA.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 18, at the Sturtevant Funeral Home Chapel, 2690 Bridge Road (Rt. 17), Suffolk, VA 23435. The graveside service will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
