She is survived by her children; Gracie Mae Norman, Richard A. Braswell, Edward L. Horton, Deborah A. Mosley, Benjamin E. Horton, and Gertrude “ Trudy” Horton, grandchildren; Betty Jean Norman, Linda Jo Norman, Brenda Sue Mosley, Jennifer M. Horton, William J. Mosley, and Kimberly A. Benson; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant son, “ Sammy”.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh. The family will receive friends and relatives from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Greenmount Cemetery, Wendell, N.C.
