Chuck was born in New York and was a lifelong, dedicated fan of the New York Yankees, Jets, Rangers and Knicks. Sporting events will be subdued in absence of his often heard bellow, “What are we paying you for?” Among his love for sports, he had a passion for all music. He was a devoted letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 29 years. Chuck and his family relocated to Raleigh, NC in 1994.
He spent the entirety of his adult life with the love of his life and wife of 31 years, Jody. Together they raised two daughters, Lindsie Coleman and husband, Tommy and Kacee Webster, of whom they couldn’t have been more proud.
He is also survived by brothers, Jay Webster and his wife, Mary Ann; and John Webster; sisters, Mary Baumann and husband, Bob; and Anne Thompson; mother-in-law, Louise Stein; sister-in-law, Mindy Lawton and husband, Craig; and brother-in-law, Scott Stein and wife, Jenny; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6-7:30pm Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a cancer research foundation of choice.
