Crawford Gray Bryant

On November 2, 2022 Gray Bryant went to sleep at Rex Hospital and woke up in glory entering into his rest being welcomed home to Heaven by Jesus, His Lord and Savior.

Gray served in the United States Air Force and upon discharge began his long working career as a telephone lineman, installer/repairman and switchman with Southern Bell, AT&T and NC State.

He was a faithful son, brother, husband, son-in-law, father, papa, friend and employee. His hobbies included gardening, woodworking and golf. He was an NC State football fan and loved going to the games and tailgating beforehand. GO PACK!

He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Dean Bryant and his mother, Norma Lillian Bryant.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma McCarty Bryant; son, Maurice Bryant (Donna); grandson, Christopher Bryant (Desiree); granddaughter, Hannah Calhoun (Ryan); brothers, Garland Bryant (Gail), and Gary Bryant (Susan); and sister, Brenda Bryant.

A visitation for Crawford will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Beacon Baptist Church, 2110 Trawick Road, Raleigh, NC 27604, followed by a funeral service from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers you may donate a memorial gift to Beacon Baptist Church Missions where Gray and his wife are members.
