Dorothy Ann Maynard

Dorothy Ann Maynard (Mann), age 89, born December 17, 1934 in Burbank, OH, died peacefully surrounded by family, June 27, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Clyde W. Maynard (1934-2014).

She is survived by siblings Alice Stanko of Massillon, OH, Lois (Gene) Vaubel of Wooster, OH, Walter (Chuck) and wife Cindy of Wadsworth, OH. Daughters caregiver Carol Moore of the home, and Ruth (Ray) Dickson of Port Washington, OH. Granddaughters Christine Woods (husband Ray Busch Jr.) of Knightdale, NC, Hannah (Danny) Hart of Umatilla, FL. and Grandson Jeremy (wife Marissa) Dickson of Orlando, FL. Loving great grandchildren Raeya, Lawson, and Brooks.

Dorothy was an angel of community service to others and formerly in charge of the craft room at Northern Wake Senior Center.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 beginning at 11:30am. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC 27609.
