She is survived by her son, Michael Bailey (Barbara); granddaughters, Michelle Lylery (Christopher) of Banner Elk, NC, Angela Spangler Cummings (Michael) and Michele Spangler Lineback both of Wake Forest, NC; grandson, Scott Spangler of Raleigh, NC; sister-in-law, Vicki Everette of Winston-Salem, NC; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Bailey, and siblings, Maurice Everette, Mary White, and Bill Everette.
A funeral service will be conducted 11am Monday, May 23, 2016 at St. Paul's Christian Church, 3331 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27612. Private burial will be at Montlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in her memory be sent to Heartland Hospice or St. Paul's Christian Church.
