Frank Warren Breazeale of Raleigh entered his heavenly home on Friday, November 21, 2025. He was born July 4, 1946 in Anderson, SC, the only child of Millard Horton Breazeale and Frances McAlister Breazeale. Frank was truly one of a kind. He earned BS and MS degrees from Clemson University and spent over 30 years teaching microbiology and anatomy and physiology at Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, SC retiring as science department head. He also served as a church organist since his teenage years in churches in South Carolina and in Raleigh through June of this year. Besides playing in churches, he also played for many events and ceremonies at Tri-County and for Clemson graduations for 35 years. He also played for several of their Founder’s Day ceremonies and for the dedication of the carillon. He was also a great Mr. Fix-it who could repair just about anything. Many will remember Frank not for his intelligence or music, but for his sense of humor.
Frank is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Lemacks Breazeale of Raleigh, NC, his daughter Rebecca Rumpf and husband Chris of Raleigh, his son Mark Breazeale and wife Mirjam of Anderson, SC and grandson Nathan Rumpf of Raleigh.
A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, November 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3120 North New Hope Road in Raleigh.
Memorials can be made to Trinity Presbyterian for their food pantry or to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC.
