John graduated from Sanderson High School in 1992. He was married to Christina Petch Harles on April 17th, 2011. John was an avid fisherman, adored his dogs Dude and Ember and spending time with his wife.
John is survived by his loving wife Christina, his daughter Mary Catelyn Harles, his parents Harry and Maureen Harles and his sister Elizabeth Harles.
His wonderful spirit, joy, and antics will be celebrated at a 2pm memorial service on Saturday April 11th at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 1701 E Millbrook Road in Raleigh.
