Helen Denise Perry

Helen Denise Perry, 55, passed away on September 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She will always be remembered as a woman with a “heart of gold”, determined work ethic, a compassionate heart, an amazing caretaker to others, loving mom, and generous to those around her. Her nickname “Little Mama” was known by all those that knew her and will miss her.

She is survived by her son, Michael Perry and wife, Angela, brothers; Jim Stephens and wife, Polly, Donald Stephens and wife, Rita, Roy Stephens and girlfriend, Jennifer, Earl Stephens; sister, Mary Ann Branch and husband, Freddie, several nieces and nephews, especially her nephew, Hunter Stephens, who was very near and dear to her heart.

The family is grateful to all the kindness shown to Helen from Transitions LifeCare Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
