Helen Socko

Helen loved to celebrate life, family, and friends. Helen’s beautiful smile and compassionate nature made everyone she met feel welcomed and loved. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Helen is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dmytro Socko; her two sons, Steven and Ken and their wives Theresa and Eva; her daughter, Christine Ingenito and her husband James. Helen is also survived by grandchildren Shannon, Brian, Christopher, Kelsey, Nicole, Olivia, and Sophia; her great-grandchildren Edward and James and her sister Stephanie Lewis.

Helen’s family will receive friends on Tuesday December 17, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh NC 27609 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. They will also receive friends on Wednesday December 18, 2013 at St Francis of Assisi Church, 11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613 from 1:00-2:00 pm with a funeral mass at the chapel at 2:00 pm.
