Jerry Dean Leonard, 72, of Raleigh passed away January 4, 2013. Jerry owned and operated Jerry’s Lounge in Raleigh and later in Wake Forest. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Annie Lee Leonard.
Surviving are: his wife, of 47 years, Agnes G. Leonard; son, Dean Parrish Leonard and wife, Kim of Wake Forest; daughter, Connie S. Gatz and husband, Donald of Herndon, VA; grandsons, Christopher Gatz and wife, Angeline, Nicholas Gatz and Charles Gatz; great-grandchildren, Lilliana and Abram Gatz; sister, Jean Jones and husband, Mike of Louisburg sister-in-law, Nancy White and husband, John of Louisburg; brother-in-law, Charles Gordon and wife Rachel of Kitrell; nieces, Jennifer Jones, Becky Kuhn and husband, Doug.
Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd, Raleigh. A graveside service will be held 1 PM Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg.
