Kathleen Frances Healy

Kathleen Frances Healy, 78, of Fuquay-Varina transitioned into eternal rest on June 8, 2021 at WakeMed Hospital with loving family by her side.

Kathleen native to Buffalo, New York was born March 1, 1943 to the late Victor F. and Margaret (Gareis) Dowling.

Kathleen "Kathy" was a loving, devoted wife and mother to her husband Jack and her five children. She was a devout Catholic and lived her life by always showing kindness and love to others. She was a strong person in her faith and in the way she lived her life. Despite the many physical challenges she faced, she always showed great strength and perseverance.

For Kathleen, family always came first. She was known as a great cook and hostess. Kathy made every holiday and family gathering special. She would cook up a storm and make a spread for all to enjoy. Kathy was known as being a good listener and was always there to lend an ear, be empathetic and supportive. She was truly the Matriarch of our Family. We will miss her dearly.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Lawrence Healy and her sister, Patricia Dowling.

Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Terese Barretto (Brandt), Michele Lesniak (Tom), Colleen Rable (Michael), Jacqueline Egloff; her son, John Healy (Darcy); her brother Michael Dowling (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Jackson, Madeline and Nathan Lesniak, Paul Barretto, Carson and Zachary Rable, Kian and Quinlan Healy. Kathy is also survived by a number of loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, June 14,2021 at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd. Raleigh, NC 27609. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 15, 2021at Saint Bernadette Catholic Church, 1005 Wilbon Rd. Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Interment will immediately follow at Wake Memorial Park 7002 Green Hope School Rd. Cary, NC 27519
