Kirk Allen Waters

Kirk Allen Waters, 22, of Raleigh, NC passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, January 23, 2014. He was born May 21, 1991 in Raleigh and grew up enjoying his extended family and friends. He was heartily enjoyed by them as well.

Kirk was a rambunctious, feisty, playful and good-natured youth. He showed great devotion to his mother, father, grandparents, and great-grandparents. He worked hard in school showing much determination to advance his own learning. He diligently trained preparing to become a Navy Seal and was well on his way before injury interrupted these plans. His ambition, ingenuity, and talent brought him to an early independence from home as well for he was sure to make something great of himself. None doubted he would. In the end, he had faith that God was working to bring him to Himself. We trust we shall all meet him there.

It is hard to imagine that such talent, promise, and personality should be cut short. Putting words to his life seems inadequate and marginal but to stop writing seems final and unfair. It is with deep regret we relinquish both.

Kirk is survived by his parents, George and Beth Karampelas, his father Timothy Waters, brothers, Devin Waters and Jonathan Karampelas and sisters Jennifer Flannigan, Stephanie Karampelas and Natasha Waters.
