Laura V. Daugherty

Laura V. Daugherty, 80, passed away on August 21, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She will always be remembered for her profound love towards her family and friends, her passion for cooking, and an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Laura is survived by her husband of sixty years, Gerald Daugherty, daughter, Dottie Harrison and husband, Allen, son, Stu Daugherty and wife, Robin, grandchildren; Angie Davis, Jeremiah Harrison, Rachael Daugherty, Stuicide Daugherty, Ryar Daugherty, Sandi Martin, and Victoria Daugherty, great-grandchildren; Camden Davis, Addie Davis, Avery Davis, Sladen Daugherty, Danika Martin, Eli Strong, Kyleigh Martin, Traiton Martin, and Juni Richardson, cousin, Barbara Sue Etheridge.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 1 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5060 Six Forks Rd., Raleigh. Burial to follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 6p.m.-8p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh.
