Marilyn, I only learned of Mike's passing at the All Souls Day Mass, Nov. 2, and I just wanted to let you know that you and family are in my prayers. He was such a kind and decent man and we had a lot of fun together on the first Habitat for Humanity house Our Lady of Lourdes sponsored. I will be forever grateful for his friendship and yours.

Mike was a long time friend. He stood up with me as my Best Man when I was married in Scottsdale, Az. in 1966 and we remained close over the years since then. He will be fondly remembered by those who knew him.

Did not realized Michael lived so close. I live in Wilmington.
We started Blessed Sacrament many years ago and stayed together all the way through Benedictine. It is always sad to have one of our own pass on.
 It is my understanding that these past few years have been a challenge for you and your family. My prayers are with your family.

"WE  LIVE SO LONG AS WE ARE REMEMBERED."  We remember all the great times at Our Lady Lordes & Cardinal Gibbons High School! Mike loved his family, job , and many friends.  How will we remember Mike?  I shall tell you.  It will be how each one of us felt in our Hearts about him as a human being. Each day Mike will be remembered.

Mike and I were both members of the BC Class of '61 and the Hibernians Society. We lost track of each other when we left Savannah to pursue our education and careers. I was able to keep track of Mike through his mother until her death and then his aunts Ceil and Mary Agnes. They were lifelong friends of my family. I morn your loss, and hope happiness returns to your family soon. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him and all of your deceased family members.

I remember the good times Mike and I enjoyed in the Brentwood Exchange Club.  We shared a lot in common including a love of western fiction and Louis L'Amore.  I didn't know he was ill and I am saddened by his passing.  If I can help, just let me knopw.
