Michael Shannon Skelton, 53, of Benson, NC, passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2022. Mike was born in Raleigh, NC, on March 29, 1969. He attended school in Cary, NC. He loved music and playing the guitar. He had an infectious laugh that will be remembered by those who met him.
Mike is survived by his son Brandon Skelton of Cary; brother Chris Skelton of Willow Spring; mother Carole Stroud and husband Ross of Raleigh; and father Donald Skelton and wife Nancy of Archdale. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Delbert Day Crawford and Thelma E. Crawford of Cary.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made in his name to the SPCA of Wake County.
