Miriam Sichel, 50, of Raleigh, passed away suddenly on July 2, 2016 from a brain hemorrhage. Mim was a 6 year Breast Cancer survivor. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many she will be missed terribly.
Mim is survived by her husband, Larry Sichel, children; Jacob, Adam, and Ethan; father, Melvin Kahn; mother, Adrienne Halevi Blume; sister, Sharonah Greenberg; brother, David Kahn and several cousins.
She was a devoted mother and wife devoting her time to helping others. A strong proponent of the arts and education, she was an active leader in many civic organizations. She was starting a new career as an Academic Life Coach, building on her background as a Family Therapist/Social Worker.
Her funeral service will be July 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh NC 27609. Interment will follow at Raleigh Hebrew Cemetery, 450 N. State St., Raleigh NC 27604. Shiva service will be held at Beth Meyer Synagogue at 7:00 PM July 5 and 6.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Beth Meyer Synagogue or a Breast Cancer charity.
