

Norma Mae Christensen Wall died on Friday, January 5, 2024. Mrs. Wall was born on December 15, 1931 in Elk Horn, Iowa to Andrew Christensen, a Danish immigrant who earned his U.S. citizenship serving in the army in the Philippines during WWI, and Mildred Kester Christensen whose ancestry can be traced back to the Mayflower.
When Mrs. Wall passed away, she joined her faithful husband, Robert; her son, Timothy; grandson, Jonathan, and great-granddaughter, Jimena in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ our Lord in glory.
She is survived by a daughter Marilee (Corey) Vana, a son Steve (Kathy) Wall, and a daughter Christine (Fred) Lockley, as well as 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wall was a beloved member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church at 11412 Strickland Road in Raleigh where her memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to CareLinkFoundation.org, a non-profit organization, which was founded by her son, Dr. Timothy Wall, dedicated to providing critical assistance to families in third world countries, particularly Honduras.
